YOUTH EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP

Purpose our youth services programs attempts is to respond to the growing number of young people between the ages of 12 and 18 in Morris County seeking to improve their quality of life and enhance their educational and career paths.  To foster positive outcomes, we provide programs that mentor African Americans and other minorities and help them make better life choices. We help our youth develop self-esteem, leadership skills, civic and community awareness, and responsible conflict resolution. Our programs prepare our youth brothers and sisters to compete, cooperate in teams, and hold higher expectations for their personal success and qualify for scholarships.

Our goal is to ensure that our youth receive the educational opportunities necessary to advance their careers and equip them for self-reliance and competition in the 21st century. Our primary areas of concentration are Boonton, Dover, Madison, Morristown, Morris Township, and Parsippany, however no one is ever turned away; all are welcome.  Programs-mentoring is a highly valuable component of every program we offer to our young people and is the underlying theme of our youth services. It has been said that no one in America makes it without some kind of mentor. Most successful people can recall an adult, other than their parent, who influenced their lives in a positive way.
