Community Outreach

New Jersey Shares is a statewide energy fund which provides energy grants to New Jersey residential utility customers who are experiencing economic difficulties, and who have exhausted all available resources to pay their electric or gas bills. As a community intake center the Urban League can determine client's eligibility, and pay all or portions of the bill.

Dress for Success is one of the ways we collaborate with other agencies and help persons needing appropriate clothing to enter the workforce. The Urban League for the time being has agreed to provide clothing for our male population who are seeking employment.

Boy Scouts Troop #331 meets every Wednesday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. at the League's Education Center on 13½ James Street, Morristown, NJ.

Contact our office at (973) 539-2121 if you need help with your utility bills, basic computer training, instruction in English, appropriate clothing for work, or have an interest in the Boy Scouts.
