Community Outreach
ESL - English as a Second Language instruction is provided to members of our community whose native language is not English. Morris County has a large immigrant population that requires this instruction in order to communicate effectively in this community. Learning English is essential to bridging the economic social and political gaps for the non-English speaking population. Our course includes instruction in grammar, vocabulary, verbs and their tenses, and oral pronunciation. Our goal is to help students of all ages engage in academic and conversational English.

Classes are held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Computer Training Lab is a popular service we offer. We address the Digital Divide by providing instruction in basic computer operation: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and using the World Wide Web. Sessions accommodate 14 students, each of who has the use of a computer. Participants are awarded a certificate upon completion, and can add new skills to their resumes. We have trained more than 130 students, and the demand for this program remains very high.

Classes are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
